The successful nanny will take responsibility for the children’s daily care and wellbeing, including:

Childcare & Development

• Provide attentive, hands-on care for the toddler and newborn.
• Follow the parents’ guidance and established household routines.
• Plan and introduce age-appropriate games, activities and learning opportunities.
• Encourage independence, curiosity and development through Montessori-inspired activities where appropriate.
• Create a calm, positive and stimulating environment.
• Support the child’s physical, emotional and social development.
• Accompany the children to outings, activities and appointments when required.

Meals & Nutrition

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals suitable for a toddler.
• Prepare healthy homemade snacks.
• Follow the family’s dietary preferences and instructions.
• Prepare and serve meals safely and hygienically.
• Clean and organise bottles, utensils and other child-related kitchen items.

Daily Routine & Personal Care

• Maintain the children’s daily schedules, including naps and rest periods.
• Manage age-appropriate personal care and hygiene routines.
• Ensure the children are comfortable, clean and appropriately dressed.
• Support the parents in maintaining consistent routines.

Children’s Areas & Organisation

• Keep playrooms and children’s living areas neat and organised.
• Clean and sanitise toys, bottles, utensils and other childcare equipment.
• Manage the children’s laundry, including washing, drying, folding and organising clothing.
• Keep bedrooms, play areas and other child-related spaces clean and well maintained.
• Ensure all childcare essentials are prepared and readily available.

Travel

• Accompany the family on local and international travel when required.
• Maintain the children’s routines and standards of care while travelling.
• Adapt confidently to different environments and schedules.
