Childcare & Daily Routine

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for the family’s two children.
• Support the children with their morning routines and preparation for school.
• Walk the children safely to and from school, approximately 15 minutes from the residence.
• Supervise the children throughout the day and ensure their safety and wellbeing.
• Establish and maintain age-appropriate routines.
• Keep the children’s toys, belongings, and personal spaces organised as part of the normal childcare routine.

Activities & Development

• Plan stimulating activities suitable for the children’s ages and interests.
• Engage the younger child in creative play, including drawing, colouring, painting, crafts, and other educational activities.
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, independence, and positive behaviour.
• Organise play and activities that support the children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs.
• Provide a calm, positive, and encouraging presence throughout the day.

Meals & Bedtime

• Prepare occasional simple snacks and basic food for the children.
• Examples may include omelettes, toast, and other easy children’s meals.
• Assist with bedtime routines when required.
• Remain flexible when the family’s schedule requires occasional later working hours, with some evenings finishing around 8:00 pm.

Evening & Pet Support

• Provide occasional evening babysitting when the parents are dining out or have other commitments.
• Walk the family’s small dog in the morning and evening.
• Ensure the dog is safely cared for during the Nanny’s regular duties.

Professional Standards

• Maintain complete discretion regarding the family’s private life.
• Respect household routines, boundaries, and confidentiality.
• Communicate professionally and reliably with the parents.
• Build a positive and trusting relationship with the children and family.
