Daily Childcare

• Take primary responsibility for the child’s care throughout the agreed working schedule.
• Provide attentive and engaged care throughout the day.
• Organise age-appropriate play, activities and developmental experiences.
• Encourage the child’s curiosity, independence and early learning through play.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, snacks and drinks.
• Manage bathing, dressing, hygiene and other personal care.
• Organise and maintain the child’s daily routine.
• Manage naps, bedtime and sleep schedules according to the family’s preferences.
• Ensure the child’s comfort, wellbeing and safety at all times.

Toddler Development

• Plan stimulating activities appropriate to the child’s age and stage of development.
• Encourage language, movement, creativity and social development through everyday activities.
• Spend quality one-on-one time with the child rather than relying solely on passive entertainment.
• Adapt activities according to the child’s interests, energy levels and developmental needs.
• Create a calm and positive environment while maintaining appropriate boundaries and routines.

Overnight Care

• Provide overnight childcare when required.
• Remain close and attentive to the child during the night.
• Respond appropriately to night waking and other overnight needs.
• Maintain consistent sleep routines in accordance with the family’s instructions.

Family Support

• Accompany the family and child during outings, activities and travel within the family’s routine.
• Organise the child’s clothing, toys, nursery area and personal belongings.
• Ensure nursery and child-related essentials are clean, organised and ready for use.
• Work discreetly alongside the existing household staff.
• Communicate clearly with the parents regarding the child’s routine, activities and wellbeing.
