Culinary Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for the two family members.
• Develop fresh, balanced and nutritious menus in line with the family’s preferences.
• Ensure all meals comply with dietary requirements, including gluten-free and minimally processed cooking.
• Plan weekly menus and organise ingredient requirements in advance.
• Source high-quality, fresh and seasonal ingredients locally.
• Introduce variety through different cuisines, flavours and cooking techniques.
• Adapt menus according to the family’s schedule, preferences and travel plans.
• Prepare food for occasional intimate dinners, gatherings and private entertaining.
• Manage special dietary requirements carefully and consistently.
• Maintain high standards of taste, presentation and food quality.

Kitchen & Pantry Management

• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and professionally maintained.
• Ensure cooking equipment is properly cared for and kept in good working order.
• Maintain an organised pantry and monitor ingredient levels.
• Manage grocery shopping and sourcing of specialist or hard-to-find ingredients.
• Monitor freshness, storage and food hygiene.
• Minimise unnecessary waste while maintaining the quality of ingredients and preparation.

International Travel

The Chef will accompany the employer on international travel as required.

During travel, responsibilities will include:

• Planning menus according to available ingredients and local facilities.
• Sourcing suitable ingredients at international destinations.
• Maintaining the family’s dietary requirements while abroad.
• Adapting cooking arrangements to different residences, kitchens and locations.
• Maintaining the same level of culinary service and discretion throughout travel.
