Log inA private family based in the 16th arrondissement of Paris is looking for a highly skilled and discreet Butler to join their household on a permanent, full-time basis. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the seamless day-to-day management of the residence while delivering refined personal service of the highest standard.
The Butler will oversee the smooth running of the apartment, coordinate domestic staff and service providers, and provide both formal and informal table service. Beyond household management, the role also includes caring for the family’s pets, organizing wardrobes, preparing for travel, and assisting with lifestyle and administrative support.
This is a live-out position that requires flexibility, professionalism, and a keen eye for detail.
Oversee and coordinate household staff, dog sitters, cleaners, and external service providers.
Manage inventories, food and supply orders, and liaise with vendors.
Set and serve tables to formal and informal standards for family meals and professional lunches.
Assist with breakfast preparation and support during family or business receptions.
Welcome guests, coordinate events, and liaise with chefs when required.
Handle luggage preparation and packing for the principals.
Anticipate family needs, manage purchases, track expenses, and oversee deliveries.
Make high-end travel, restaurant, and lifestyle reservations.
Provide occasional chauffeuring services for family members.
Support with light administrative duties, including invoices, service agreements, and subscriptions.
Monitor home automation systems and ensure maintenance issues are promptly addressed.
Care for the family’s pets (three dogs, two cats).
Proven reliability, discretion, and absolute trustworthiness.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Service-oriented with the ability to anticipate needs.
Fluent French speaker with strong communication skills.
Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to work weekends when required.
EU passport holder with valid driver’s license.
Comfortable around animals.
Position: Butler (M/F) – Full-time, permanent
Location: Paris 16th arrondissement
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with occasional weekend availability
