Log inA European principal is seeking a dedicated Chef & Butler Couple (or two experienced professionals) to take on the management of a newly acquired 7-bedroom luxury villa in Saint Barthélemy. This residence, primarily used during the winter season by the principal and VIP guests, offers a rare opportunity to work in one of the most exclusive destinations in the Caribbean.
The couple will live on-site in a private two-bedroom apartment and become integral members of the household team, working alongside the property manager, PA, and two housekeepers. The roles demand professionalism, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to high standards of service.
Chef
Prepare refined, family-style Mediterranean and Italian dishes with impeccable presentation.
Cook for groups ranging from 1 to 15 guests, adapting quickly to last-minute requests.
Capable of preparing meals for up to 10 guests within 15 minutes when required.
Handle menu planning, grocery shopping, stock management, and kitchen upkeep.
Maintain a pristine and organized kitchen at all times.
Provide occasional support with household maintenance when the principal is not in residence.
Butler
Deliver flawless five-star service to the principal and distinguished guests.
Anticipate guest needs, ensuring a discreet and welcoming experience.
Manage table service, beverages, and both formal and informal dining.
Work with the housekeepers and property manager to keep the villa guest-ready at all times.
Handle deliveries, alarms, and general troubleshooting, reporting directly to the PA or manager.
Provide hands-on support with household operations when necessary.
Either a professional couple or two individuals open to sharing one apartment.
Highly adaptable, proactive, and calm under pressure.
Strong teamwork skills while also capable of working independently.
Presentable, polished, and discreet, with excellent interpersonal abilities.
Chef: Skilled in Mediterranean and Italian cuisine, quick, creative, and versatile.
Butler: Solid background in luxury service, with expertise in guest relations and event support.
Experience in yachting or high-end hospitality is a significant plus.
Fluency in English required; knowledge of French or Italian desirable.
EU passports preferred for visa purposes.
Contract: Full-time, permanent (start date November 2025).
Schedule: Highly flexible. Intense workload during principal’s stays (1–3 months/year), with extended downtime when villa is not in use.
Accommodation: Furnished two-bedroom apartment, utilities included.
Food & Car: Meals provided when principal is in residence; work vehicle available.
Time Off: Significant downtime outside of the winter season.
Probation: 6 months.
