Housekeeping & Cleaning

• Maintain the residence to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
• Carry out routine and detailed cleaning of all rooms and living areas.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, polish, and clean surfaces according to the appropriate care requirements.
• Clean windows and floors when required.
• Use suitable professional cleaning products and techniques according to the materials and finishes within the property.
• Ensure bedrooms, bathrooms, living spaces, and other areas are consistently neat and well presented.

Laundry & Household Linen

• Manage the household laundry from start to finish.
• Wash, dry, iron, fold, and appropriately store clothing and household linens.
• Handle delicate fabrics and garments with appropriate care.
• Maintain an organised linen and laundry area.

Household Organisation & Supplies

• Monitor household stocks and ensure essential cleaning products and supplies are available.
• Keep storage areas organised.
• Assist with grocery or household stock management when requested.
• Receive parcels, deliveries, and other items on behalf of the household.
• Manage household waste and ensure appropriate recycling and selective sorting procedures are followed.

Kitchen Support

• Assist with basic kitchen-related tasks when required.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, tidy, and organised after use.
• Ensure kitchen surfaces and equipment are maintained to an appropriate household standard.

Errands & Additional Household Services

Occasional local errands may be required, including:

• Collecting or dropping off dry cleaning.
• Post office visits.
• Pharmacy or other local collections.
• Other practical household errands as requested.

The successful candidate should be comfortable adapting to occasional additional requests while maintaining the priorities of the household.

Property Reporting & Maintenance

• Identify and report any damage, equipment malfunction, maintenance issue, or unusual situation promptly.
• Follow household procedures and instructions provided by the employer or their representative.
• Communicate efficiently with the employer and/or household assistant regarding the condition and requirements of the property.
