Job Description

A well-established, fully staffed private residence in Kuwait City is currently looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Live-In Housekeeper with a dedicated focus on laundry and wardrobe care.

This is a long-term, permanent role within a respectful and professionally managed household. The position is strictly specialised: no cleaning, childcare, or general housekeeping duties are required.

The role is entirely centred on garment care, fabric treatment, and wardrobe organisation at the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Laundry & Fabric Care

Manage the complete laundry process from start to finish, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing
Treat luxury garments, delicate fabrics, and designer clothing with appropriate professional care techniques
Carry out steaming, pressing, and finishing to a high presentation standard
Ensure all household linens, including bed linen, towels, and table linens, are perfectly cleaned and maintained

Wardrobe Management

Organise and maintain wardrobes in a structured and orderly manner
Manage seasonal rotation of clothing and storage systems
Ensure garments are correctly stored, preserved, and easily accessible
Pack and unpack clothing and linens for travel when required

Equipment & Supplies

Maintain laundry appliances and ensure proper functioning
Manage detergents, cleaning agents, and laundry supplies
Report any maintenance needs or equipment issues promptly

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in laundry, garment care, or housekeeping within private households, luxury hotels, or similar environments
Strong expertise in fabric care, including luxury and delicate materials
Excellent ironing, steaming, and garment finishing skills
Previous experience in wardrobe organisation and maintenance
Fluent in English (spoken, written, and reading)
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
Discreet, trustworthy, and professionally reliable
Impeccable personal hygiene and presentation standards

Working Conditions

Live-in position (shared bedroom and shared bathroom)
6 working days per week
Based in a spacious private residence in Kuwait City
Start date: Immediate availability required
Full-time, permanent contract
