Job Description

A private family residing in Palm Jumeirah is seeking an experienced and education-oriented Live-In Nanny to take primary responsibility for the care and academic guidance of their 8-year-old son. Occasional assistance with a 1-year-old baby may be required, although the mother remains actively involved in the baby’s daily care.

This role is ideal for a candidate who can blend attentive childcare with structured educational support, helping to foster academic growth, intellectual curiosity, and well-balanced development. The selected nanny will reside within the family home.

Responsibilities

Provide dedicated and structured care for the 8-year-old child.
Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational activities.
Supervise homework, school assignments, and exam preparation.
Encourage reading, analytical thinking, and disciplined study habits.
Organize and manage daily routines, including early morning preparation and school readiness.
Oversee school logistics (family driver provided).
Accompany the child to extracurricular commitments such as sports or arts programs.
Maintain order and organization of study materials, schedules, and children’s spaces.
Offer occasional support with the 1-year-old baby when required.
Collaborate closely with the mother regarding all child-related matters.

Job Requirements

Demonstrated experience as a Nanny, Governess, or similar role within a private household.
Strong background supporting the academic development of school-aged children.
Experience in tutoring, structured learning environments, or education-focused childcare.
Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
Patient, nurturing, and capable of maintaining healthy structure and boundaries.
Discreet, professional, and trustworthy.
Flexible and adaptable to evolving family needs.
Open to candidates of all nationalities.
Available for an immediate start.

Working Conditions

Live-in accommodation provided within the main residence
6 working days per week, 1 day off
Visa, medical insurance, and flight ticket provided in accordance with UAE Labour Law

Salary

AED 10,000 – 20,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications
