Log inA private family based in Coto de Caza, California, is seeking a dedicated, caring, and experienced full-time live-out Nanny to join their household starting February 2026.
The role focuses on the daily care and development of two children aged 3 and 10. The ideal Nanny will be confident supporting early childhood needs while also assisting an older child with learning routines, schoolwork, and extracurricular activities.
This is a long-term, permanent position suited to a professional who values discretion, consistency, and a nurturing approach to childcare within a well-organized household.
Childcare and Development
Provide attentive, full-time care for two children, supporting their emotional, physical, and educational growth.
Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, learning, and independence.
Support daily routines including mornings, meals, hygiene, and evening wind-downs.
Assist the older child with homework, reading, and structured educational activities.
Encourage positive behavior, confidence, curiosity, and responsibility.
Health, Safety and Well-Being
Ensure a safe, structured, and caring environment at all times, both at home and during outings.
Monitor health needs, administer basic first aid when required, and coordinate medical or school-related appointments.
Manage children’s schedules, including school, extracurricular activities, and social commitments.
Household and Coordination Support
Handle light child-related household tasks such as preparing simple meals, tidying play areas, and organizing children’s rooms.
Work in coordination with other household staff, including chefs and housekeepers, to ensure smooth daily operations.
Drive the children to and from school, activities, and appointments as needed.
Family Collaboration
Maintain clear, professional communication with the parents regarding routines, expectations, and child development.
Respect family privacy and boundaries while building a trusting working relationship.
Adapt to changing schedules, special events, or extended days when required.
Travel
Accompany the family on occasional travel, ensuring continuity of care during trips and stays at secondary residences.
Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience, ideally within private or high-standard households.
Background in early childhood education, childcare training, or proven experience supporting children’s development.
Confident working alongside other household staff in a structured environment.
Calm, patient, and genuinely passionate about childcare.
High level of discretion, reliability, and professionalism.
Clean background check and strong, verifiable references.
Valid driver’s license and comfort driving children.
Flexibility to travel when required.
Location: Coto de Caza, California, USA
Contract: Full-time, permanent, live-out
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and travel
