Log inA private family is seeking an experienced, reliable and well-presented Domestic Couple to take responsibility for the day-to-day upkeep and smooth running of a prestigious country estate in Villeneuve-sur-Verberie, Oise (60).
The property is an impressive ten-bedroom country residence arranged over two floors, with lift access, and regularly accommodates between nine and ten family members and guests, including teenagers.
The couple will be taking over from the current caretakers, who are leaving their positions in September. The family is therefore looking for a dependable pair who can quickly establish themselves within the household and take ownership of their respective responsibilities.
Madame regularly spends weekends at the property. As an artistic director working in the luxury sector, she has a particularly strong appreciation for high standards, presentation, attention to detail and impeccable service.
The residence contains valuable artwork, silverware and other precious items, making trust, discretion and respect for the property essential.
The Roles
The position is divided between two complementary areas of responsibility, allowing each member of the couple to focus on their primary duties.
Member of the Couple – Maintenance & Grounds Support
The first member of the couple will be responsible for the practical upkeep of the property, including:

The second member will focus primarily on the interior of the residence and family meals, including:
Existing Household Team
The couple will not be working alone.
The successful couple will therefore become part of an established household structure and should be comfortable coordinating their work with other members of staff.
The family is looking for a mature and professional couple who are genuinely committed to a long-term private household position.
Both candidates should demonstrate:
A car and valid driving licence would be advantageous, although candidates without their own vehicle may also be considered.
Given the nature of the residence and its contents, the successful couple must be exceptionally trustworthy, discreet and respectful of confidentiality.
