Log inAn exclusive estate in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, is seeking a refined and experienced Butler to take charge of the residence’s front-of-house service. The role requires a polished professional who excels in luxury service, can anticipate the needs of principals and guests, and ensures the smooth daily running of a world-class household.
The property spans 8,000 sq. ft. and is already staffed with a full support team, including a chef, housekeepers, nannies, security, and a household manager. The Butler will work closely with this team, acting as the bridge between principals and staff to guarantee exceptional standards of service.
Household & Service Oversight
Supervise daily household operations, ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Serve as the main point of contact for the principals, guests, and vendors.
Lead formal and informal table service, including silver service, wine pairing, and beverage presentation.
Keep inventories updated and organized.
Ensure the estate is immaculate and always ready to receive guests.
Event & Guest Support
Organize and oversee private dinners, receptions, and social functions.
Deliver discreet, personalized service to guests, upholding the atmosphere of refinement.
Provide concierge-level support to both principals and visitors.
Property & Travel Responsibilities
Conduct regular property inspections, ensuring all systems and spaces are maintained.
Liaise with contractors and staff for upkeep of smart-home technology, security, and AV systems.
Travel occasionally with the principals to assist with service at secondary residences or during trips.
At least 8 years’ experience as a Butler in UHNW households or luxury hospitality.
Formal training in household or hotel management strongly preferred.
Mastery of formal dining service, including silver service and etiquette.
Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
Excellent organizational abilities and a polished, professional demeanor.
Discretion and loyalty are essential.
Fluent English; additional languages a plus.
Flexible, proactive, and seeking a long-term role.
