Job Description

A private family living in an exclusive villa on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, is looking to recruit a meticulous and experienced Live-in Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness, presentation, and day-to-day upkeep of their residence.

The family is seeking a reliable housekeeping professional with a strong background in managing large private homes and luxury villas. The successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously, demonstrate excellent organizational skills, and maintain consistently high standards across all areas of the property.

In addition to general housekeeping duties, the position involves specialist wardrobe care, laundry management, formal table preparation, and providing attentive service when the family welcomes guests.

The ideal candidate will be discreet, well-presented, and service-oriented, with a thorough understanding of private household standards and the ability to anticipate the family’s needs.

Responsibilities

Take full responsibility for the cleanliness, presentation, and daily upkeep of the villa, ensuring every room and living area is maintained to an exceptional standard.
Develop and follow structured housekeeping routines to ensure all areas of the property receive appropriate attention.
Carry out detailed cleaning, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and floor care, using suitable products and techniques for different surfaces and furnishings.
Manage all laundry requirements, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and organizing household and personal garments.
Provide specialist wardrobe care, ensuring clothing, accessories, and delicate fabrics are handled, stored, and maintained correctly.
Prepare bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure the residence remains immaculate and ready to receive visitors.
Assist with guest hospitality, offering a courteous and professional service when family members entertain.
Prepare and arrange dining areas, including formal table settings, according to the occasion and the family’s preferences.
Monitor household cleaning products and supplies, maintaining adequate stock levels and reporting replenishment requirements.
Identify maintenance or household requirements and communicate them promptly to the appropriate family member.
Maintain the organization of storage areas, linen cupboards, wardrobes, and household equipment.
Anticipate daily household requirements and take initiative to ensure the smooth running of housekeeping operations.
Uphold strict confidentiality and respect the family’s privacy at all times.

Job Requirements

Filipino nationality, as specifically requested by the family.
Previous experience as a Housekeeper in luxury villas, large private residences, or high-standard private households.
Strong practical knowledge of professional cleaning methods, laundry management, ironing, and garment care.
Experience preparing formal dining settings and assisting with guest hospitality.
Good command of spoken English and the ability to communicate effectively with family members.
Impeccable personal presentation, grooming, and professional hygiene standards.
Highly organized, proactive, and capable of independently managing daily housekeeping responsibilities.
Friendly, courteous, and service-minded personality with a positive and flexible attitude.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent standards without close supervision.
Trustworthy, discreet, and fully committed to protecting the family’s privacy.
Willingness to work and reside within the family’s private villa.

Working Conditions

Full-time, live-in position based in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE.
Private accommodation provided within the villa.
Monthly salary starting from AED 3,500.
Flexibility required to accommodate the family’s daily schedule and guest entertainment.
Independent housekeeping responsibilities within a private household environment.
Employment visa and relevant documentation arranged in accordance with UAE labour regulations.

Salary

From AED 3,500 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
