Job Description

A private household located in Paris 16th arrondissement is looking for a skilled and reliable Housekeeper with cooking abilities to support the day-to-day running of the residence.

This is a long-term, full-time opportunity for a professional who enjoys working in a structured family environment and takes pride in maintaining high household standards.

The role also includes occasional visits to a second family residence in the 7th arrondissement.

Responsibilities

Household Maintenance

  • Ensure the property is consistently clean, organised, and well-presented
  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, polishing, and floor care
  • Maintain a high standard across all living spaces

Laundry & Wardrobe Care

  • Manage laundry cycles, ironing, and garment care
  • Organise wardrobes and household linens with attention to detail

Household Organisation

  • Monitor and replenish household supplies and food items
  • Handle grocery shopping and manage essential stock levels
  • Track purchases and provide updates when required

Cooking & Meal Preparation

  • Prepare simple, healthy, and varied meals for the family
  • Adapt menus based on preferences and daily needs

Errands & Coordination

  • Manage daily errands such as dry cleaning, pharmacy visits, and post office runs
  • Receive deliveries and ensure proper handling of parcels
  • Liaise with and supervise external contractors when needed

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a private household or high-end hospitality setting
  • Confident working independently with strong organisational skills
  • Interest in cooking and ability to prepare balanced meals
  • Comfortable in a family environment, including homes with children
  • Flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Fluent in French

Working Conditions

  • Role: Housekeeper
  • Location: Paris 75016 (primary) + Paris 75007 (secondary residence)
  • Contract: Permanent (CDI)
  • Working Hours: 35 hours per week (schedule to be defined)
  • Start Date: Immediate

Salary

€2,950 to €3,200 gross per month, depending on experience
