Job Description

A private household based in Marbella, Costa del Sol, is looking to appoint a professional and discreet Housekeeper for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of transitioning into a long-term position for the right candidate.

This role is suited to a proactive, well-organised individual who takes genuine pride in maintaining a private residence to a high standard. The family values reliability, discretion, and a warm, service-oriented attitude. Comfort working in a home with pets is essential, as several dogs are part of the household.

Applicants must already have the legal right to work in Spain (EU/EEA nationality or valid Spanish work authorisation).

Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Home Maintenance

Carry out daily cleaning and general upkeep of the residence.
Manage laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care.
Ensure the home remains well organised, tidy, and welcoming at all times.
Handle light household errands as required.

Food Preparation & Kitchen Support

Assist with simple meal preparation.
Prepare healthy, fresh dishes when needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen.

Service & Hospitality

Serve drinks and food in a polite, discreet, and professional manner (butler-style service).
Support the family and guests during entertaining.

Pet Care

Provide daily care for five dogs, including:
- Feeding
- Basic cleaning tasks
- Letting pets in and out
- General care, attention, and companionship

Job Requirements

Previous experience in private households or high-end hospitality.
Confident and comfortable working around animals, particularly dogs.
Reliable, discreet, and trustworthy.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Positive, friendly, and flexible attitude.
Good spoken English.

Working Conditions

Flights to Spain covered
Visa support provided where legally applicable
Comfortable accommodation provided if live-in, or travel assistance if live-out (to be agreed)
Initial contract: 6 months
Schedule: Full-time, live-in, 6 days per week / 1 day off
Possibility of extension to a permanent role based on performance

Salary

From €3,000 per month, depending on experience and profile
