Job Description

A private family based in Monaco is seeking an experienced and highly dependable Travelling Nanny to care for two young boys, aged 8 months and 20 months. The successful candidate will become an important part of the children’s daily routine and will travel internationally with the family on a regular basis.

This is a full-time, live-out CDI position, with a preference for candidates already living locally in Monaco or the surrounding area.

Responsibilities

Take full responsibility for the daily care of both children, tailoring routines and activities to their individual ages and developmental stages.
Organise and maintain consistent schedules covering meals, sleep, bathing, personal care, play and learning activities.
Support the older child with nursery attendance, including drop-off and collection approximately 2–3 times each week.
Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage development, curiosity and confidence.
Create a secure, nurturing and positive environment for the children both at home and while travelling.
Accompany the family on international trips and ensure the children’s routines remain as consistent and comfortable as possible across different destinations and time zones.
Assist with child-focused household duties, including children’s laundry, organising play areas and preparing simple meals and snacks.
Work collaboratively with the family to ensure the children’s needs are met smoothly throughout the day.
Maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism within the private household.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

3–5+ years of professional childcare experience, preferably in a private household or similarly high-end environment.
Strong hands-on experience caring for infants and toddlers.
Excellent knowledge of young children’s routines, developmental stages and age-appropriate activities.
Fluent English, plus a second language, preferably French or Italian.
A flexible, energetic and proactive approach, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and international travel.
A genuine interest in providing warm, attentive and stimulating care.
Willingness to undertake light duties directly related to the children.
A discreet, trustworthy and highly reliable personality.
Excellent professional references.
Availability and willingness to travel frequently with the family.

Salary

€70,000 gross per year
