Log inWe are in search of an exceptional Private Chef for a high-net-worth family residing in Hinsdale, Illinois. This permanent, live-out position offers an incredible opportunity to showcase your culinary skills by preparing exquisite, health-conscious meals for a family that embraces a pescatarian diet. The ideal candidate will have experience creating gourmet, seasonal dishes with a focus on nutritious ingredients. This role is perfect for a chef who thrives in a high-end household and enjoys working in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
Create daily meals that cater to a pescatarian diet, incorporating fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients, with a focus on flavor and nutrition.
Plan and prepare meals for private events, providing a fine-dining experience that matches the family’s taste and high standards.
Ensure the kitchen is kept pristine and organized, managing inventory and kitchen equipment efficiently.
Occasionally travel with the family to their secondary homes, continuing to deliver first-class culinary experiences.
Work closely with other household staff, fostering an environment of teamwork and efficiency.
Emphasize sustainability in sourcing ingredients and ensure that every meal contributes to the family’s wellness goals.
Minimum 5 years of experience in private kitchens or high-end culinary environments.
Culinary training with a deep understanding of various cuisines and a focus on nutritious, flavorful meals.
Experience working with high-net-worth families and catering to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
Excellent organizational skills and a high level of discretion in managing kitchen operations.
Must be reference-checkable, with a history of providing outstanding service in private households.
Ability to commute to Hinsdale, Illinois, and a US passport is preferred for ease of international travel.
