Job Description

A prestigious international family based in Bangalore, India, is seeking a refined and highly experienced Governess / Nanny to provide dedicated care and educational support for their nearly 13-year-old twins (boy and girl).

This is a full-time, live-in position offering an exceptional opportunity to work within a dynamic, globally oriented household. The role focuses on academic support, structured daily routines, and the overall personal development of pre-teen children transitioning into adolescence.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to act as both a mentor and role model in a nurturing yet structured environment.

Responsibilities

Provide tailored academic guidance and learning support for two pre-teen children.
Assist with homework, school assignments, and broader educational development.
Design and implement engaging activities that promote intellectual curiosity, creativity, and emotional wellbeing.
Encourage a balanced lifestyle including sports, fitness, and creative pursuits.
Supervise and accompany children to extracurricular activities, school-related events, and appointments.
Reinforce positive behaviour, manners, etiquette, and social development.
Travel internationally with the family during school holidays and ensure continuity of care abroad.

Job Requirements

Holder of a Western or European passport (mandatory).
Native-level English speaker.
Degree-qualified or formally trained in education, childcare, or a related field.
Proven experience with children aged 10–15, ideally in a governess or educational nanny role.
Strong understanding of adolescent development, physical wellbeing, and structured learning.
Polished, professional, and well-presented at all times.
Energetic, proactive, and capable of creating a stimulating and supportive environment.
Able to balance warmth, discipline, and educational leadership.

Working Conditions

Location: Bangalore, India
Position Type: Live-in
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Start Date: As soon as possible
Schedule: 5 working days per week
Accommodation: Private bedroom with en-suite bathroom provided
Meals: Fully provided
Travel: International travel required during school holidays (all expenses covered)
Benefits: Visa sponsorship and medical insurance provided

Salary

18,000 to 30,000 AED per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
