We are searching for a Property Guardians Couple for our clients’ secondary residence situated in Fontainebleau. The selected couple will oversee general upkeep and monitor the site.
The couple will be expected to commit to a long-term role and will be responsible for preserving the interior of the 700m2 house and 7000m2 outdoor area (including the park, lawn, hedges, garden, and terraces), as well as ensuring the property’s security. The family of five that uses the property on weekends and during school breaks will be the primary responsibility of the couple.
This is a full-time permanent position that will commence at the end of June 2023 and will require the couple to live on-site in Fontainebleau.
Job responsibilities include managing household maintenance tasks, preparing the property before the family arrives and managing their stay, managing household and family linens, maintaining garden and pool furniture, preparing family-style meals, running errands and handling grocery shopping, maintaining two swimming pools, managing and maintaining on-site vehicles, monitoring the property’s security, managing mail and packages, performing minor repairs and handyman work as required, and supervising contractors and artisans. Regular reports to the employer are also expected.
The ideal couple will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role and be friendly, trustworthy, dynamic, flexible, organized, and capable of performing minor repairs and handyman work. Good communication and interpersonal skills are required, and at least one person must hold a valid driver’s license.
The attached 80m2 house will be fully renovated, furnished, air-conditioned, and equipped with a sunny terrace, separate entrance, two bedrooms, a double living room, and a kitchenette.
The position is open to couples with complete independence and the couple will have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off each week.
This is a full-time permanent position with a salary of €4,400 net for the couple.
