Job Description

EŌME Residences, located on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, is looking for a diligent and practical Outdoor Housekeeper / Exterior Maintenance Attendant to help maintain the presentation and upkeep of its collection of luxury private residences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the regular cleaning and care of exterior spaces across several properties, ensuring that entrances, terraces, walkways, driveways, swimming pool surroundings, and other outdoor facilities remain clean, safe, and presentable.

The position also includes cleaning outdoor stone and marble surfaces, maintaining poolside furniture, keeping garages and parking areas tidy, and washing residents’ vehicles when requested. The candidate should be comfortable carrying out a variety of practical tasks and adapting to the requirements of different residences throughout the working week.

Previous experience in exterior cleaning, outdoor housekeeping, or property maintenance is highly desirable, particularly within high-end villas, luxury residential communities, hotels, or resorts. The ideal applicant will be physically fit, self-motivated, and attentive to detail, with a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently while cooperating with the wider property team.

Responsibilities

Exterior Cleaning and Property Upkeep

Clean and maintain outdoor areas, including entrances, patios, terraces, driveways, pathways, and communal exterior spaces.
Care for marble, natural stone, tiled surfaces, glass, and other exterior finishes using suitable products and cleaning techniques.
Remove dust, sand, fallen leaves, and other debris to maintain a consistently high standard of presentation.
Clean and arrange outdoor furniture, ensuring that seating areas and exterior spaces are ready for use.
Carry out routine exterior upkeep and minor practical tasks within the scope of the position.
Identify areas requiring additional attention and report any damage or maintenance concerns to the relevant manager.

Swimming Pool and Leisure Areas

Maintain the cleanliness of pool decks, swimming pool surroundings, sunbathing areas, and outdoor relaxation spaces.
Arrange sun loungers, outdoor seating, and poolside accessories neatly and consistently.
Assist with straightforward pool-area cleaning duties and basic pool maintenance when appropriately trained.
Notify management of any visible defects, safety concerns, or equipment issues.

Vehicle and Parking Area Care

Wash and maintain residents’ vehicles according to the assigned schedule and instructions.
Clean vehicle interiors when requested, using appropriate products and methods.
Handle vehicle finishes and interior materials carefully to prevent damage.
Keep garages, parking bays, and associated areas clean, orderly, and free from debris.

Equipment, Safety, and Teamwork

Keep cleaning equipment, tools, and materials clean, organised, and in good working condition.
Monitor supplies and report when products or equipment need replenishment or replacement.
Follow established cleaning routines, workplace safety requirements, and property-specific procedures.
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance personnel, and other service providers across the residences.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently and manage time effectively when moving between properties.
Work respectfully around residents and guests, maintaining confidentiality and protecting their privacy.
Take initiative in identifying outdoor cleaning requirements rather than waiting for instructions for every task.

Job Requirements

Previous employment in exterior cleaning, outdoor housekeeping, grounds upkeep, or a comparable property maintenance role.
Experience in luxury villas, private residences, premium hotels, resorts, or high-end residential developments is an advantage.
Familiarity with cleaning marble, stone, tiles, glass, outdoor furniture, and other exterior materials.
Practical experience cleaning vehicles and maintaining poolside environments is preferred.
Basic knowledge of property upkeep and the ability to recognise and report defects or maintenance requirements.
Good spoken English and the ability to understand instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Physically fit and comfortable undertaking hands-on outdoor work in Dubai’s climate, with appropriate heat-safety precautions.
Dependable, hardworking, honest, and attentive to detail.
Able to work independently, follow schedules, and prioritise tasks across multiple residences.
Flexible and willing to assist with a range of exterior cleaning and routine upkeep duties.
Well organised, punctual, and committed to maintaining high presentation standards.
Comfortable working collaboratively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other operational teams.
