A returning private client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Live-in Housekeeper to care for their elegant primary residence in Dallas, Texas, with seasonal relocation to their Nantucket summer home (approximately four months per year).

This full-time, long-term role offers the chance to join a respectful, family-oriented household with three teenage children. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining the family’s properties to exceptional standards while creating a calm, organized, and welcoming home environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily cleaning, organization, and presentation of a 5,500 sq. ft. property.
Perform detailed cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living spaces.
Manage laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care, ensuring delicate items are properly handled.
Prepare light family meals as needed (simple breakfasts or children’s dinners).
Keep track of household inventory, order supplies, and manage errands or small purchases.
Conduct periodic deep-cleaning projects (e.g., appliances, silver polishing, outdoor areas).
Assist with the care and feeding of a small, well-behaved dog.
Collaborate closely with the principals to support household routines and high standards.

Job Requirements

Dependable, positive, and detail-focused, with excellent organizational skills.
Polished, discreet, and professional, with a warm and approachable demeanor.
Previous experience in refined private residences, including garment and fabric care.
Self-motivated and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
Comfortable in a health-conscious, smoke-free, pet-friendly environment.
Fluent in Spanish or English (required).
Must hold U.S. work authorization; a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Working Conditions

Start Date: Immediate.
Schedule: Around 40 hours per week, typically 8:00 AM–1:00 PM and 3:00 PM–6:00 PM. Days off: Sunday and Monday.
Flexibility: Required during travel and major holidays (Thanksgiving, Easter, July 4th); compensatory days provided.
Travel: Between Dallas and Nantucket; all travel costs and meals are covered.
Accommodation: Private, comfortable living quarters provided in both homes, featuring a bedroom, full bath, and sitting area with TV.
Vacation: Three weeks paid leave (preferably August) plus ten days during the Christmas period.
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent.

Salary

$90,000 per year, paid biweekly.
