Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Live-In Housekeeper to join a private household on Palm Jumeirah. This role is dedicated entirely to housekeeping and is perfect for someone who thrives in an independent environment, excels at managing cleaning tasks autonomously, and has strong organisational skills.

The residence features six bedrooms and six bathrooms, with only three bedrooms in regular use, allowing for a systematic and manageable cleaning schedule. A private room and bathroom are provided for the maid. The role demands meticulous attention to detail and the ability to prioritise high-traffic areas while maintaining impeccable standards throughout the entire property.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in private homes, particularly with European-style cleaning standards, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and trustworthiness. This position is well-suited for someone proactive who takes pride in maintaining a luxury home to the highest standards.

Comprehensive training will be provided, ensuring a smooth transition into the household’s systems and expectations.

Responsibilities

Perform complete housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout the residence, including all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal spaces, ensuring consistent tidiness and cleanliness.
Carry out cleaning tasks to European-style standards, with attention to delicate surfaces and luxury furniture, ensuring that every detail is carefully considered.
Use appropriate cleaning techniques and products for various surfaces and materials, ensuring their preservation and cleanliness.
Manage the residence efficiently, prioritising frequently used rooms while keeping less-used spaces in pristine condition on a scheduled basis.
Organise household items such as linen, towels, and cleaning supplies, maintaining an orderly environment at all times.
Work closely with the family to understand and implement their preferences, ensuring that the household systems are followed consistently.
Keep an eye on the property’s condition, promptly reporting any maintenance issues or repair needs.

Job Requirements

Proven experience in private household cleaning, with a strong ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results.
Trustworthy and self-sufficient, capable of managing responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Attention to detail is essential, ensuring the home is kept to an exceptional standard.
Professional presentation, demonstrating respect for the family’s privacy and property.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic household.
Positive, proactive attitude and adaptability to household routines.
Ability to follow instructions while also showing initiative in property maintenance.

Working Conditions

Live-In: Private bedroom and bathroom provided.
Schedule: 6 days on, 1 day off (weekends).
Paid annual leave.
Start date: ASAP.
Long-term position available.
Visa and medical insurance provided.

Salary

5,000 AED per month.
