Job Description

A private residence situated in Paris 75007 is seeking a full-time Domestic Worker to oversee the daily upkeep and smooth functioning of a 180 m² apartment. The selected candidate will manage household routines, support service needs, and ensure the home remains tidy, organised, and well-maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the property, including living areas, bedrooms, kitchen and service zones.
  • Handle all laundry duties: washing, ironing, steaming, folding and wardrobe organisation.
  • Monitor stock levels of cleaning products and household supplies.
  • Conduct occasional errands and grocery purchases as required.
  • Assist with table set-up and informal meal service when the family is present.
  • Support simple meal preparation and kitchen organisation.
  • Carry out complementary tasks such as postal services, pharmacy pick-ups and dry-cleaning drop-off/collection.
  • Receive deliveries, manage parcel logistics and welcome scheduled service providers.
  • Ensure proper waste sorting and removal.
  • Communicate any maintenance or technical concerns promptly to the employer.

 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in private households, hospitality or similar environments.
  • Proactive, adaptable, trustworthy and able to work independently.
  • Appreciation for culinary preparation and table presentation is considered an advantage.
  • Discretion and confidentiality are essential.
  • Driver’s licence appreciated but not mandatory.
  • Ability to communicate in French, Italian or English.

Working Conditions

  • Role: Domestic Worker
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Location: Paris 75007
  • Contract Type: Full-time, permanent, with occasional weekend availability
  • Trial Period: 1 month, renewable

Salary

From €2,800 gross per month, depending on experience
