Log inMorgan & Mallet International is recruiting, on behalf of a private owner, an experienced and highly capable Domestic Couple to oversee the daily management and maintenance of an exceptional private estate near Saumur, in the Loire Valley.
Dating back to the late 18th century, the property extends across approximately four hectares and includes a beautifully maintained manor house, guest accommodation, landscaped gardens, an orchard, rose gardens, woodland, a swimming pool, tennis court, and several outbuildings.
The owner, an established writer, spends extended periods at the estate throughout the year. Working alongside the owner’s Personal Assistant and an estate maintenance technician, the successful couple will play a key role in preserving the property, ensuring its smooth operation, and maintaining the highest standards both indoors and outdoors.
This is a permanent live-in opportunity ideally suited to a practical, self-sufficient couple who enjoy estate living and take pride in maintaining a prestigious private residence.
