Job Description

A professional office located in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is currently looking to recruit a reliable and service-oriented Office Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the workplace and ensure the office environment remains organized, clean, and welcoming.

This role is particularly suited to candidates with a background in hospitality, who understand the importance of maintaining high service standards, attention to detail, and creating a comfortable and professional environment for both employees and visitors.

The Office Assistant will play an important role in supporting the internal team by maintaining shared office areas, preparing refreshments for meetings, assisting with light administrative tasks, and ensuring the office runs smoothly throughout the day.

The position requires a proactive and dependable individual who can work independently while maintaining high standards of organization and presentation within the office.

Responsibilities

Office Support & Hospitality

  • Prepare tea, coffee, and refreshments for staff members and meetings when required.
  • Ensure meeting rooms are organized, clean, and ready before scheduled meetings.
  • Welcome guests and help maintain a pleasant and professional office atmosphere.

Office Organization & Maintenance

  • Maintain cleanliness across the office including floors, surfaces, glass areas, and kitchen facilities.
  • Manage dishwasher operations and keep the pantry and kitchen areas tidy.
  • Empty bins and carry out additional cleaning tasks when needed.
  • Ensure common areas remain neat and well-maintained at all times.

Supplies & Inventory Management

  • Monitor office pantry and supply levels.
  • Organize grocery orders and ensure refreshments and supplies are replenished regularly.
  • Maintain proper stock levels for office essentials.

Administrative Support

  • Assist with basic administrative duties such as document handling, filing, and simple correspondence.
  • Provide general assistance to the team with day-to-day office tasks when required.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, office support, or similar service-oriented roles.
  • A hospitality mindset with a strong focus on service and presentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative when required.
  • The ability to manage several tasks efficiently throughout the day.
  • The capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A professional, discreet, and trustworthy approach.

Working Conditions

  • Location: DIFC, Dubai, UAE
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Contract Type: Full-time permanent contract
  • Work Schedule: 6 days per week
  • Working Hours: 10 hours per day
  • Accommodation: Not provided

Salary

AED 5,000 per month
