Private Cooking & Meal Preparation

• Prepare fresh, simple, varied, and well-balanced meals for the household.
• Suggest weekly or daily menus according to the client’s preferences and obtain approval before preparation where required.
• Adapt meals according to the number of people being served and specific occasions.
• Ensure ingredients are correctly stored, labelled, dated, and monitored for freshness.
• Monitor expiry dates and maintain appropriate food safety standards.
• Manage household food stocks and ensure essential ingredients are available.
• Carry out grocery shopping and source quality ingredients according to the client’s requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.

Table Service & Entertaining

• Prepare and set the dining table according to the type of meal and number of guests.
• Provide polished and discreet table service during meals and private entertaining.
• Assist with the organisation and execution of receptions and intimate events.
• Ensure guests receive attentive and professional service.
• Understand appropriate dining etiquette and demonstrate confidence with both formal and informal service.

Household Management

• Contribute to the general organisation, presentation, and smooth running of the residence.
• Ensure the household remains orderly and well maintained.
• Coordinate technical, repair, and maintenance appointments with external contractors and service providers.
• Monitor scheduled interventions and ensure access and arrangements are properly organised.
• Maintain a reliable network of suppliers, tradespeople, and household contacts.
• Keep a detailed contact book for regular suppliers, craftsmen, and service providers.

Wardrobe & Dressing Room

• Maintain the organisation of the principal’s wardrobe and dressing areas.
• Ensure clothing, shoes, and accessories are properly stored and kept in excellent general condition.
• Prepare outfits and clothing selections when requested.
• Coordinate dry cleaning, alterations, repairs, and other specialist garment services.
• Ensure the dressing room remains organised and presented to a high standard.

Errands & Personal Services

• Handle occasional errands on behalf of the household.
• Coordinate dry cleaning and clothing alterations.
• Carry out post office, pharmacy, and other local administrative errands.
• Manage household and personal purchases as required.
• Maintain clear records and provide appropriate reporting for purchases and expenses.
