Job Description

An exceptional private estate in County Wicklow, Ireland is looking for an experienced and personable Front of House Professional to join its household team for the upcoming season.

This position is suited to someone with a strong background in luxury hospitality, whether gained within a five-star hotel, boutique property, private residence, luxury chalet or superyacht. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that the principals and their guests receive polished, attentive and genuinely welcoming service at all times.

Working in an elegant private estate, you will combine formal hospitality skills with a flexible, hands-on approach and take pride in creating a relaxed yet highly refined guest experience.

Responsibilities

Provide discreet and highly attentive food and beverage service for the principals and their guests.
Prepare and maintain sophisticated table settings for everyday dining and formal entertaining.
Serve wine, champagne, cocktails and other premium beverages to a high professional standard.
Prepare classic cocktails, aperitifs and other drinks according to guests’ preferences.
Welcome family members and visitors warmly and professionally upon arrival.
Ensure reception, dining and entertaining areas are consistently presented to an exceptional standard.
Assist with the preparation and coordination of private dinners, events and weekend entertaining.
Help organize guest areas before and after events, including clearing and restoring spaces.
Anticipate the needs of the principals and guests and respond discreetly to changing requirements.
Support the wider household team when required, contributing to the smooth running of the estate.

Job Requirements

We are looking for an energetic hospitality professional who combines excellent service standards with a warm and engaging personality.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in a five-star hotel, luxury boutique hotel, private household, luxury chalet or superyacht.
Excellent knowledge of formal dining, table service and premium beverage presentation.
Strong understanding of wine and champagne service.
Practical knowledge of cocktails and contemporary mixology.
A polished, confident and naturally hospitable manner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to anticipate guests’ requirements while remaining discreet and unobtrusive.
A flexible and proactive attitude, with a willingness to assist with other household duties when needed.
Fluent English.
A valid, clean driving licence.

Working Conditions

Location: County Wicklow, Ireland
Contract: Seasonal, November 2026 to May 2027
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days on / 2 days off
Working pattern: Weekend and public/festive holiday work is required, reflecting the family’s entertaining schedule. Regular days off will generally be arranged during the week.
Accommodation: Accommodation options available and negotiable
Future prospects: Excellent potential for a longer-term position following the initial seasonal contract.
