ROTA Nanny

Rota Nanny job in South Miami, Florida, USA

South Miami

Job Description

A dynamic high-net-worth family relocating from Los Angeles to South Miami is seeking an experienced Rota Nanny to join their fully staffed household.

This role is suited to a senior childcare professional who is confident working in a structured, team-based environment and providing consistent, high-level care across multiple age groups.

The position requires a strong ability to balance hands-on childcare, routine management, and developmental support while collaborating closely with the mother and other household staff.

The successful candidate will care for three young children (4.5 years, nearly 3 years, and 9 months), ensuring continuity, structure, and a positive daily rhythm within a busy household setting.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Childcare & Routine Management: Provide attentive, hands-on care for all three children, managing schedules including meals, naps, hygiene, and bedtime routines.
  • Developmental Engagement: Design and implement age-appropriate activities that support early learning, motor skills, and social development across different age groups.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare balanced meals and snacks tailored to each child’s needs and developmental stage.
  • Children’s Organization: Manage wardrobe rotation, laundry, and maintain well-organized play and living spaces.
  • Household Support (Child-Related): Assist with light duties related to the children, ensuring a clean, structured, and well-maintained environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the mother, who is actively involved, and coordinate with other nannies and household staff to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Flexible Coverage & Scheduling: Participate in a rota or split schedule to provide full weekly coverage, including weekends where required.
  • Travel Support: Accompany the family on trips as needed, maintaining continuity of care in different environments.
  • Proactive Contribution: Use downtime effectively by organizing children’s areas, preparing activities, and anticipating household needs.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ professional childcare experience, ideally within private households caring for multiple young children.
  • Childcare Expertise: Strong background working with infants and toddlers, with the ability to manage varying developmental stages simultaneously.
  • Education: Training or qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Child Development are highly valued.
  • Certifications: Valid CPR certification required.
  • Mobility: Valid driver’s license and passport, with flexibility for travel.
  • Personal Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a calm and professional approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Fit: Collaborative mindset with the ability to integrate into a fully staffed household and work alongside other professionals.
  • Discretion: Experienced in private service environments with a strong understanding of confidentiality and household standards.

Working Conditions

  • Location: South Miami, Florida
  • Start Date: First week of August 2026
  • Schedule: Full-time coverage through a rotational or split schedule (to be defined with the family)
  • Accommodation: Live-out position
  • Benefits: Health insurance contribution + paid time off (PTO)

Salary
