Full-Time Property Groundskeeper job (M/F) in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Description

A private luxury villa located on Nurai Island, Abu Dhabi is seeking a dependable and experienced Property Groundskeeper to oversee the maintenance and presentation of the estate’s exterior grounds.

This is a long-term, live-in position requiring a candidate with strong landscaping expertise, excellent attention to detail, and a professional approach to safety and confidentiality. The selected individual will ensure that all outdoor areas are maintained to the highest standards year-round.

Fluency in English and prior experience working on large or high-end properties are essential.

Responsibilities

Maintain lawns, landscaped gardens, hedges, trees, and planting areas to a premium standard.
Operate and maintain professional groundskeeping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, irrigation systems).
Manage and adjust irrigation systems according to seasonal requirements.
Detect and address plant health concerns, pests, and diseases.
Maintain outdoor pathways, driveways, terraces, and hard landscaping elements.
Monitor and regulate temperature settings for the swimming pool, cold plunge, and Jacuzzi.
Oversee maintenance of water sports equipment and provide guidance to guests when required.
Ensure all outdoor areas remain clean, safe, and visually impeccable.
Coordinate with management regarding schedules, priorities, and special requests.
Support and supervise external contractors (landscapers, pest control, tree specialists).
Comply strictly with health and safety standards.

Job Requirements

Extensive experience as a Groundskeeper, Gardener, or Landscaper on large estates or luxury properties.
Strong command of English.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid expertise in lawn care, irrigation systems, and plant maintenance (experience in hot climates preferred).
Skilled in the use and maintenance of professional groundskeeping tools.
Basic knowledge of horticulture and seasonal planting cycles.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors throughout the year.

Working Conditions

Position type: Live-in, full-time, long-term
Accommodation & Benefits: Private accommodation, meals provided, visa, medical insurance, and flight ticket in accordance with UAE Labour Law
Schedule: 6 days per week, 1 day off
Annual Leave: 30 calendar days
Eligibility: Open to Asian nationalities; candidates based outside the UAE are welcome (flight covered)
Start Date: Immediate availability preferred

Salary

Up to AED 6,000 per month
