Private Executive Chauffeur job (M/F) in Miami, Florida, USA

• Provide safe, discreet, comfortable, and punctual transportation for the principal and, when required, his wife, family members, or guests.
• Drive throughout Miami and the wider South Florida area, selecting efficient routes and anticipating traffic conditions.
• Operate and confidently maneuver large luxury vehicles, including a full-size luxury SUV and a passenger vehicle accommodating six or more people.
• Oversee the day-to-day care of the household vehicle fleet, including fueling, cleaning, detailing, inspections, servicing, repairs, and routine maintenance appointments.
• Conduct regular vehicle checks and ensure all vehicles remain clean, safe, serviced, and ready for use.
• Remain readily available at the residence or another designated location while the principal is in Miami, responding promptly to transportation requests.
• Coordinate closely with the Personal Assistant, House Manager, and wider household team regarding schedules, movements, appointments, and changes to the daily agenda.
• Handle occasional personal errands, including dry-cleaning collection, grocery runs, package collection, and similar requests.
• Undertake occasional domestic travel within the United States when required, potentially for periods of up to a couple of weeks per year.
• Maintain complete discretion and confidentiality regarding the principal, family, residence, schedule, and personal affairs.

Schedule & Availability

When the Principal Is in Residence – Approximately 8 Months Per Year

The position requires a high degree of flexibility and availability. Working days and hours will vary according to the principal’s schedule and may include:

• Late morning starts, typically from around 10:00 AM onwards
• Evening driving and late finishes
• Short-notice and same-day requests
• Extended working days when required
• Availability up to 7 days per week, depending on the principal’s schedule

All hours worked over 40 hours per week are paid as overtime at 1.5x the applicable base rate.

When the Principal Is Away – Approximately 4 Months Per Year

The chauffeur continues to receive their full guaranteed annual salary, despite the significantly reduced workload.

During these periods, responsibilities are generally limited to essential vehicle care, maintenance coordination, occasional errands, and ensuring the vehicles remain in excellent condition and ready for the principal’s return.

This structure provides considerable personal downtime while offering the financial stability of a permanent, year-round position.
