Job Description

An internationally based principal with private residences across Europe, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced and highly professional Travelling Personal Assistant / Butler to provide first-class personal support and household assistance across multiple locations.

This is a unique long-term opportunity for a polished private service professional who enjoys an international lifestyle, is comfortable travelling extensively, and excels at anticipating needs before they arise.

The successful candidate will accompany the principal between residences, ensuring every property is perfectly prepared and every aspect of the principal’s daily life is managed with precision, discretion, and efficiency.

Combining executive personal assistance with traditional butler responsibilities, this role requires exceptional organisation, flexibility, and the ability to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of private household service.

Responsibilities

Personal Assistance

  • Oversee the principal’s diary, appointments, meetings, and personal schedule.
  • Arrange medical consultations, wellness appointments, fitness sessions, and other personal engagements.
  • Handle confidential errands and day-to-day administrative requests with professionalism.
  • Coordinate travel schedules and ensure smooth transitions between international residences.
  • Anticipate upcoming commitments and proactively manage changing priorities.

Butler & Household Service

  • Welcome guests and provide polished, discreet hospitality.
  • Prepare each residence prior to the principal’s arrival, ensuring every detail meets established standards.
  • Organise wardrobes and personal belongings, including packing and unpacking for international travel.
  • Set tables and deliver both formal and informal meal service when required.
  • Maintain immaculate presentation throughout each residence.
  • Monitor household supplies and coordinate orders with external vendors and suppliers.

Travel & Residence Coordination

  • Accompany the principal on regular international travel throughout Europe, the UAE, and the UK.
  • Ensure every residence is fully operational and prepared before each arrival.
  • Coordinate housekeeping teams and other household staff to maintain consistent service standards.
  • Manage household logistics across multiple properties while ensuring continuity of service.
  • Resolve operational matters efficiently and discreetly during travel.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Private Personal Assistant, Butler, Estate Assistant, or Household Manager within a private household.
  • Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to anticipate needs and manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional, discreet, dependable, and service-oriented.
  • Comfortable travelling extensively and adapting to an international lifestyle.
  • Valid EU passport (essential).
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
  • Additional language skills are highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a calm, flexible, and positive approach.
  • Previous experience supporting high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth principals is highly advantageous.
  • Brazilian candidates with an EU passport are warmly encouraged to apply.
