Job Description

A UHNW client is seeking a highly organised and experienced Travelling House Manager to oversee the smooth operation of multiple private residences across international locations.

This is a dynamic, fast-moving role requiring strong operational control, discretion, and the ability to manage complex logistics across several properties.

Acting as a key support to the Principals, you will take full responsibility for the coordination of household operations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and exceptional standards in every residence. You will work in close collaboration with the Travelling Personal Assistant to ensure all lifestyle, travel, and household needs are delivered seamlessly.

Responsibilities

Household & Property Management

  • Supervise the daily operations of multiple private residences worldwide
  • Manage household teams, including scheduling, onboarding, and performance follow-up
  • Ensure all properties are maintained to a consistently high standard
  • Establish and maintain structured household systems and service protocols
  • Oversee inventories, purchasing, and stock management
  • Coordinate maintenance works, repairs, and external contractors
  • Prepare residences ahead of arrivals with a high level of attention to detail
  • Monitor household budgets, expenses, and reporting when required
  • Maintain consistency and operational efficiency across all locations

Lifestyle & Household Support

  • Support the Principals’ day-to-day lifestyle within each residence
  • Organise private events, dinners, and informal gatherings
  • Oversee wardrobe, laundry, and personal belongings across residences
  • Coordinate with chefs, service teams, and suppliers to maintain service standards
  • Handle errands and sourcing both locally and internationally
  • Assist in maintaining wellness routines (fitness, spa, lifestyle organisation)

Travel & Logistics Coordination

  • Travel frequently with or ahead of the Principals to prepare residences
  • Manage the setup and closing of properties during travel periods
  • Oversee packing, unpacking, and wardrobe transitions between homes
  • Coordinate the movement and organisation of personal items across locations
  • Ensure smooth transitions between residences and adapt to last-minute changes
  • Act as the main on-site contact for all household-related matters during travel

Team & Operations Coordination

  • Work closely with the Travelling Personal Assistant to align operations and schedules
  • Act as the link between the household teams and the Principals’ agenda
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new staff when required
  • Build staff schedules and ensure full operational coverage
  • Maintain high service standards through ongoing supervision
  • Liaise with external partners, suppliers, and service providers

Job Requirements

  • Highly organised with strong operational and management skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high standard of execution
  • Calm, composed, and solution-focused in fast-paced environments
  • Discreet and experienced in handling confidential matters
  • Proactive with strong anticipation skills
  • Flexible and comfortable with irregular hours and frequent travel
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
  • Experience managing multiple residences and complex logistics
  • Previous experience as a House Manager, Residence Manager, Chief Stewardess, or similar role within UHNW environments is essential
  • Yachting experience is a strong advantage
  • University education is a plus

Working Conditions

  • Role: Travelling House Manager
  • Location: Cairo, Egypt + international travel (Dubai, Europe, USA)
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Accommodation: Provided during travel
  • Benefits: Full package including travel, accommodation, insurance, and daily allowance

Salary

€5,000 to €6,000 per month, depending on experience
