Log inA family residing in Presidio Heights, San Francisco, is seeking a warm, thoughtful, and highly professional Nanny (M/F) to support the care and development of their 5-year-old daughter. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and joyful environment while maintaining structure and supporting the child’s emotional, social, and intellectual growth.
The family values calm energy, positive communication, and a nanny who brings both gentle guidance and professional composure, particularly in a high-profile household setting. This position may be either live-in or live-out depending on the candidate’s preference.
Provide attentive, engaged care tailored to the child’s developmental stage and personality.
Establish and maintain daily routines that balance learning, play, creativity, physical activity, and rest.
Support early academic skill-building and homework assignments in collaboration with school educators and tutors.
Encourage respectful communication, emotional self-regulation, and social confidence in day-to-day interactions.
Organize and lead enriching activities such as arts & crafts, nature outings, music, reading, museum visits, and age-appropriate sports.
Prepare simple, healthy snacks and light meals, particularly when the private chef is not available.
Maintain a tidy and organized environment in the child’s bedroom, play spaces, and study areas.
Ensure safety and supervision during home time, transportation, and external activities.
Coordinate scheduling for school, extracurricular activities, playdates, and appointments.
Collaborate with the Housekeeper and Chauffeur to support smooth household routines.
Travel occasionally with the family for holidays and school breaks, both within the U.S. and internationally.
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Nanny in private households, with demonstrated experience in HNW or formal family environments.
Strong understanding of childhood development, especially for children ages 3–8.
Fluent in English and Mandarin (required).
Positive, patient, empathetic, and skilled at creating structure with kindness.
Professional discretion with the ability to maintain privacy and boundaries.
Background in early childhood education or formal childcare certification strongly preferred.
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to update certification).
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and already based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends).
Location: Presidio Heights, San Francisco, California.
Accommodation: Live-in or Live-out (candidate preference).
Travel: Occasional domestic and international travel with the family.
