Job Description

A friendly, internationally minded family settled in Dubai is seeking a reliable Nanny/Housekeeper/Cook to support their daily household life. Their 16-month-old daughter is growing up in a multilingual environment, and the parents value continued Arabic exposure at home. With both parents professionally active—one in the office and one partly remote—they are looking for someone confident, organised and able to work independently.

This role combines three key functions: nurturing childcare, general home upkeep, and preparation of simple, healthy meals. The family hopes to welcome a warm individual who enjoys being part of a household rhythm, understands early-development needs, and can integrate smoothly without needing constant direction.

Responsibilities

Childcare

Provide attentive, interactive, screen-free care for the toddler.
Encourage learning through play, conversation and structured activities.
Spend time outdoors regularly (park, garden, play areas).
Maintain gentle, consistent routines for naps, meals and playtime.
Collect the child from nursery as needed (driving licence preferred).
Support Arabic language reinforcement in a natural, playful manner.

Household Support

(Primarily while the child is at nursery)

Perform daily tidying to ensure an orderly, comfortable home.
Maintain strong hygiene standards throughout, especially in the kitchen.
Manage laundry and light ironing.
Keep the two-storey home well-organised and decluttered.

Cooking

Prepare fresh, simple meals aligned with Mediterranean and healthy cooking styles.
Provide breakfast for the child when needed.
Prepare lunch for the child daily.
Serve dinner for the family each evening.

Job Requirements

Comfortable communicating in Arabic and English.
Warm, patient personality with a genuine love for children.
Proven experience with toddlers and early-development needs.
Able to take initiative and operate confidently without ongoing guidance.
Aligned with a screen-free caregiving environment.
Able to cook healthy, balanced meals.
Well-organised and tidy in household management.
Driving licence strongly preferred.

Working Conditions

Start Date: Ideally before January 2026 (earlier welcome).
