Log inA welcoming family of six based in Chatham, Cape Cod, is looking for a committed Live-In Nanny/Family Assistant to provide care and household support. The role focuses on childcare for four children aged 6, 11, 14, and 16, while also assisting with family logistics and organization. This is a long-term, live-in position with private accommodation offered close to the family home.
The right candidate will be energetic, dependable, and adaptable, thriving in a busy household environment. Strong organizational skills, initiative, and a warm, engaging personality are essential to succeed in this role.
Provide daily care, supervision, and age-appropriate activities for four children.
Manage school runs, after-school activities, and weekend outings.
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
Support with errands, grocery shopping, and kitchen organization.
Handle children’s laundry and maintain organized play and living spaces.
Assist parents with scheduling, family routines, and household coordination.
Offer flexible family assistance while the housekeeper manages cleaning duties.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a nanny, family assistant, or household support professional.
Valid driver’s license and ability to transport children safely (vehicle provided).
Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable to changing family schedules.
Warm, reliable, and family-oriented personality.
Willingness to relocate (relocation assistance provided).
Start date: Immediate.
Duration: Approx. 2 years, with potential to extend if family relocates.
Schedule: Core hours 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (household support) + afternoons/evenings for childcare and activities.
Accommodation: Private 2-bedroom flat, 20 minutes from the family’s home (not available during summer travel, salary maintained).
