An experienced, bilingual (Italian, English) Head Housekeeper/House Manager is required for a full-time live-out position in Lugano, Switzerland.
The right candidate will have proven experience in managing catering and sleeping accommodation establishments.

The Head Housekeeper/House Manager will be managing a Company guest entertainment complex that hosts infrequent small but upscale Company events, and in between, he/she will have to ensure the efficient running of the Company CEO’s private household to an impeccable standard.

Start: As soon as possible.

Vacancy duties and responsibilities

Household management (Lugano) – managing a team of 3 full-time employees in relation to cleaning, laundry, changing bed linen, shopping for food and other supplies, cooking, gardening, valeting cars, and miscellaneous local support.
Welcoming guests and management of small catering events
Managing subcontracted catering suppliers
Administration – liaising with the local administrative assistant to ensure adherence to company procurement policies
Household budget management
Some travel to other properties when needed
Report to the Company CEO and the Facilities Manager  ​

Profil requirement

​​​Fluent and English and Italian
Valid driving licence
Proven experience in a similar role with excellent references
Previous senior experience in managing staff, creating rosters, setting service standards, and assuring training and adherence to high silver service standards.
Extremely flexible and highly motivated individual
Positive, very hands-on attitude

Job Condition

Schedule: Full-time (5 days a week) with significant weekend work and anti-social hours.
