We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Live-out Private Chef for a family of three in La Mer, Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mediterranean, Italian, and Japanese cuisines and must be able to create a diverse and exquisite gastronomic experience.
The role requires not only exceptional culinary skills but also knowledge of nutrition, ensuring that meals are both healthy and delicious. Flexibility in schedule and willingness to travel during the summer to Europe with the family is essential.
Responsibilities
- Create and prepare a variety of dishes, specializing in Mediterranean, Italian, and Japanese cuisines.
- Plan and develop daily/weekly menus tailored to the family’s preferences and dietary requirements.
- Manage the budgeting and purchasing of ingredients.
- Shop for fresh, high-quality ingredients.
- Cook and serve lunch and dinner, ensuring proper table setting.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring compliance with food hygiene regulations.
- Clean the kitchen and dining area after meals, ensuring all equipment and surfaces are spotless.
- Adapt to varying schedules, including occasional events and special occasions.
- Travel with the family to Europe during the summer to provide meal preparation abroad.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a private chef, with a strong track record in high-end households.
- Expertise in Mediterranean, Italian, and Japanese cuisines.
- Knowledge of nutrition and the ability to create healthy, delicious meals.
- Ability to plan menus, manage budgets, and shop for ingredients.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in maintaining cleanliness and kitchen organization.
- Flexibility in schedule and willingness to work varying hours as needed.
- Willingness to travel to Europe during the summer.
- Excellent references from former employers.
- A clean record and willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check.
Work conditions
- Permanent full-time contract.
- Start: As soon as possible.
- 6 days a week from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with flexibility as needed.
- Live-out position: Accommodation is not provided, but the candidate must be able to commute to La Mer, Dubai.
