Live-out Housekeeper (M/F) job offer in Los Angeles, California, US

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper (M/F) to maintain a pristine environment within a large estate in Los Angeles, California, US.

This part-time position involves working one day per week, ensuring the property remains impeccably clean and organized. Responsibilities

Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and hallways.
  • Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces to ensure the estate remains pristine.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces as needed.
  • Ensure proper care and cleaning of high-end furnishings, fabrics, and finishes.
  • Outdoor kitchen must be tidy and clean – empty receptacles.
  • Separate studio in the back of property w/bathroom.

Linen & Laundry Care

  • Change and launder bedding, towels, and other linens as required.
  • Laundry, iron and press clothing or linens when needed.

Organizational Duties

  • Maintain the organization of closets, pantries, and storage areas, as needed.
  • Ensure supplies such as cleaning products, toiletries, and household items are restocked and neatly stored.

Specialized Tasks

  • Care for delicate or valuable items (e.g., antiques, artwork, or silver).
  • Assist with seasonal deep cleaning projects or preparation for events, as directed.

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of professional housekeeping experience, preferably in large estates or private home luxury properties.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques for high-end materials and surfaces.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and valuable items with care.
  • Excellent time management to complete tasks efficiently within the scheduled day.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move light furniture or equipment, as needed.
  • Capability to be on your feet and perform manual cleaning tasks for extended periods.
