A private household in Palo Alto, California is seeking an experienced and meticulous Part-Time Housekeeper to care for a 7,000 sq. ft. private residence. This position is ideal for a professional who is highly attentive, discreet, and comfortable working in a refined environment featuring antiques and delicate furnishings.

The role requires a strong understanding of specialty cleaning techniques, respect for valuable items, and the ability to maintain an impeccably organised home while working independently and professionally.

Responsibilities

Perform daily and routine cleaning of the residence, ensuring all living areas are consistently clean, organised, and well maintained.
Handle antiques, fragile objects, and specialty surfaces with exceptional care, using appropriate products and techniques at all times.
Maintain overall household organisation and presentation to a high standard.
Monitor household supplies and report any shortages in a timely manner.
Identify and communicate maintenance or repair needs promptly.
Work discreetly and respectfully within a private household environment at all times.

Job Requirements

Proven experience working in high-end or private residences.
Demonstrated knowledge of caring for antiques and delicate materials.
Strong attention to detail and high personal standards.
Reliable, punctual, and consistently professional.
Respectful of the household, its contents, and strict privacy requirements.

Working Conditions

Location: Palo Alto, CA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day
- Shift options: 8:00am–1:00pm or 9:00am–2:00pm
Start Date: ASAP

Salary
