Full-Time Cook/Housekeeper job (M/F) in Dubai, UAE

Job Description

A private family located in Jumeirah Golf Estate, Dubai is seeking a Cook/Housekeeper to take charge of daily meal preparation for two adults and two household staff, while also providing light housekeeping support related to kitchen and dining areas.

This role suits a versatile and reliable professional who enjoys cooking a variety of cuisines, follows recipes confidently, and maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization. The household includes young children, so comfort and discretion in a family environment are essential.

Responsibilities

Cooking & Meal Preparation

Prepare daily meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Cook a range of Asian, European, and international dishes.
Follow provided recipes, including online and video-based instructions.
Present meals in a healthy, timely, and well-organized manner.
Maintain excellent hygiene standards in food preparation and storage.
Assist with grocery planning and basic inventory management.
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers.

Light Housekeeping Support

Clean and maintain kitchen and dining areas.
Wash dishes and keep kitchen spaces organized and orderly.
Support other household staff with light duties when required.
Ensure cooking and food areas remain clean, tidy, and uncluttered.

Job Requirements

Prior experience as a home cook or family cook.
Confident preparing Asian and European cuisine.
Open to learning new recipes and cuisines.
Good English communication skills.
Organized, hygienic, and detail-oriented.
Comfortable working in a household with young children.
Flexible with working hours and household needs.
Willing to travel with the family occasionally if required.

Working Conditions

Accommodation: Provided
Living Arrangement: Live-in (shared accommodation)
Work Schedule: 6 days per week (days off may vary weekly)
Location: Jumeirah Golf Estate, Dubai
Start Date: Immediate

Salary

Competitive salary, depending on experience.
