Log inA private estate in Fotheringhay, Northamptonshire is seeking an experienced and versatile Driver/Loader/Chauffeur to provide professional transportation for the Chairman, Principals, and their families. This full-time role combines chauffeuring, loader duties during shoots, and estate support when driving is not required.
The ideal candidate will be polished, discreet, and adaptable, with proven chauffeur experience and a strong understanding of working within a high-profile household. This is a varied position suited for someone who takes pride in their work, demonstrates loyalty, and can deliver a first-class service in all areas of responsibility.
Chauffeuring & Driving
Provide safe, punctual, and professional transportation for the Chairman and family.
Drive for both personal and business purposes across the UK, using luxury vehicles.
Assist with luggage handling and ensure comfort and discretion at all times.
Coordinate travel schedules with the Chairman’s PA to ensure seamless logistics.
Available for evening and weekend driving as needed.
Loader & Estate Support
Act as loader during shooting events (training provided if required).
Maintain and prepare shooting equipment.
Assist with estate maintenance and general support tasks when not driving.
Fleet Management & Administration
Oversee the upkeep of all estate and company vehicles, ensuring they are always roadworthy, clean, and presented to the highest standard.
Organise MOTs, repairs, servicing, insurance, and tax renewals.
Manage congestion charges and reconcile monthly fuel card invoices.
Run office errands and provide ad hoc support for the Chairman, family, or Estates Director.
Previous professional chauffeur experience in private households or executive environments.
Holder of a shotgun licence (mandatory).
Willingness to complete loader training if not already qualified.
Flexible approach, available for evenings, weekends, and events.
Professional, trustworthy, and discreet with strong interpersonal skills.
Highly organised and proactive, able to work independently.
Practical and hands-on, with a willingness to assist in estate duties.
Schedule: Full-time, flexible hours (including weekends when required).
Contract Type: Permanent.
