An enthusiastic and nurturing live-in Night Nanny (M/F) is sought to care for a 7-month-old baby in Wassenaar, near The Hague, The Netherlands.
The nanny will be working for a multicultural family of four who will be relocating permanently to the Netherlands at the beginning of August 2024.
The parents are primarily looking for someone who can help them in the evening and during the night. The position is based in a beautiful mansion on an estate with a forested area, very close to The Hague. Candidates with pets are welcome, as the family adores animals and has several cats and friendly dogs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evening and nighttime care for the 7-month-old baby.
- Assist the baby when she wakes up, especially during teething phases.
- Help the baby get back to sleep and provide nighttime feedings.
- During the family’s travels, care for their teenage child during the day.
- Share expertise and guidance with the parents on raising their baby.
Qualifications:
- Experience in infant care.
- Ability to adapt to parental preferences while employing personal methods.
- Knowledgeable in modern early-age development techniques.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, loving, and patient demeanor.
- Proficiency in English for communication with parents; knowledge of Chinese or Dutch is advantageous.
- Trustworthy and dependable.
- Preferably possesses higher education or qualifications in childcare.
- Ability to ride a bike or moped is beneficial.
Working Conditions:
- Schedule: Average of 40 hours per week. Likely schedule: 4 nights a week with 10-hour shifts starting in the evening, or alternatively, 3 nights and 1 (or 2) days per week. Exact schedule to be discussed and finalised.
- Accommodation: Private accommodation in a large family house, with a private bedroom and walk-in bathroom.
Contract: Permanent full-time contract.
Start Date: As soon as possible.
Salary
Up to 5000 Euros gross per month.
