Log inA private family residing in Marseille’s 12th arrondissement is seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced Nanny to care for their 4-year-old child. This live-out role is offered on a permanent contract of 28 hours per week. When the child is at school or engaged in activities, the nanny will also assist with light household duties to support the smooth running of the home.
This is an exciting long-term opportunity for a professional who enjoys working with children, is proactive in creating enriching routines, and values discretion and trust within a family environment.
Provide attentive care and ensure the child’s safety and well-being at all times.
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the child.
Organize and oversee daily routines after school, including snack time, bathing, dinner, and reading.
Manage school pick-ups, accompany the child to extracurricular activities (such as dance or judo), and plan occasional outings.
Keep the child’s areas tidy, including toys, clothes, and bedroom.
Support the household with laundry and general housekeeping tasks when the child is away.
Run occasional errands (shopping, post office, dry cleaning).
Maintain clear and regular communication with the parents.
Provide occasional evening babysitting as required.
At least 3 years of proven experience working with young children in a similar role.
A childcare qualification such as CAP Early Childhood (or equivalent) is essential.
Dynamic, flexible, and resourceful personality with a positive attitude.
Ability to balance warmth with authority, fostering structure while being caring.
Fluent in French; English is an asset.
Strong sense of confidentiality and discretion.
A valid driver’s license is required.
