Log inA private household based in Southlake, Texas is seeking an experienced live-in Butler to join their residence on a long-term, full-time basis. This role is designed for a polished professional accustomed to high service standards, refined environments, and discreet household operations.
Working closely with the House Manager, the Butler will play a central role in the daily functioning of the property, combining personal service, household coordination, and guest-facing responsibilities. Accommodation is provided on-site.
Household and Personal Service
Deliver attentive daily service to the principal family, including meal setup, personal assistance, and ad-hoc requests.
Ensure living areas and private spaces are maintained to impeccable standards at all times.
Oversee household supplies and inventory, ensuring organization and availability.
Support fine laundry care and coordination with dry-cleaning services.
Guest Experience and Entertaining
Welcome and assist guests during arrivals and departures.
Support the organization of private dinners, receptions, and family gatherings.
Assist with event preparation, table settings, service flow, and guest requests.
Coordinate catering services and external providers when required.
Household Technology and Security
Operate and monitor integrated home systems, including Savant automation.
Support security procedures, access control, and general property safety.
Staff Coordination
Work collaboratively with existing household staff.
Assist with service supervision and uphold consistent service standards.
Participate in staff guidance and on-the-job training when necessary.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Butler or in a comparable private household role.
Background in luxury hospitality or formal butler training strongly preferred.
Comfortable working in tech-enabled residences.
Strong understanding of service etiquette, household protocols, and guest care.
High level of discretion, professionalism, and reliability.
Ability to work autonomously while integrating smoothly within a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
