A discreet private household based in the prestigious Saadiyat Island area of Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Live-in Housekeeper / Butler Assistant to oversee the day-to-day upkeep and smooth operation of a high-end residence.

The property is occupied by two adults and consists of a spacious luxury villa with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, reception areas, and guest spaces.

The successful candidate will be entrusted with maintaining exceptional household standards while working autonomously and taking initiative in managing daily domestic responsibilities.

This opportunity is ideal for a professional who has previously worked in private residences, luxury villas, family estates, or similar high-standard environments and who enjoys creating a well-organized, welcoming home.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the entire residence to an exceptional standard
Perform routine housekeeping duties, including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing
Carry out periodic deep-cleaning tasks throughout the property
Manage household laundry, including washing, ironing, garment care, and wardrobe organization
Monitor and replenish household supplies and groceries as required
Coordinate household inventory and ensure essential items are always available
Prepare simple, healthy meals and assist with light cooking duties for the principals
Set and clear dining tables for daily meals when required
Provide light household service and assist with informal butler-related tasks
Identify household maintenance needs and report issues promptly
Independently organize daily workloads and ensure all household duties are completed efficiently

Job Requirements

Previous experience in a private household, luxury residence, family estate, or similar environment
Background as a Housekeeper, Butler, House Manager Assistant, or Domestic Couple member considered advantageous
Strong spoken English skills with the ability to communicate professionally
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high housekeeping standards
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
Flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented personality
Comfortable preparing basic meals and following recipes
Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of privacy and confidentiality
Open to applicants of all nationalities

Working Conditions

Full-time live-in position
Private furnished bedroom with en-suite bathroom provided
Six working days per week with one day off
Typical schedule: approximately 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., including a lunch break
Immediate start available
UAE employment visa provided
Comprehensive medical insurance included
Annual return flight ticket provided

Salary

Competitive monthly salary of AED 5,000 – AED 6,000, depending on experience and qualifications
