Our valued repeat client is currently seeking a diligent and self-motivated Housekeeper (specializing in cleaning) with a composed demeanor and a sharp eye for detail to care for their opulent UHNW family estate nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Lagos, Portugal.
As a Housekeeper at this prestigious estate, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the residence’s cleanliness and pristine condition. Your methodical approach, organizational abilities, and proactive problem-solving skills will be indispensable in maintaining the household to the highest standards.
This is a permanent full-time position, with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform morning housecleaning tasks to ensure the residence remains immaculate.
- Handle laundry duties, including proper garment care and the management of items requiring dry cleaning.
- Organize and maintain wardrobes, drawers, shoes, and personal belongings.
- Conduct window cleaning to ensure a clear and stunning view.
- Complete vacuuming, dusting, and other cleaning tasks to preserve a spotless environment.
Profile Requirements:
- Eligibility to work and reside in Portugal or the European Union.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English (knowledge of Spanish is a bonus).
- Previous experience in high-net-worth households is essential.
- Strong references from previous employers.
- A keen attention to detail.
- A discreet and tactful personality.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with other staff members, including the house manager, personal assistant, chefs, nannies, etc.
Job Conditions:
- Working days: 5 days on, 2 days off per week.
- Flexibility required when the family is in residence (approximately 50% of the time).
- Significant downtime when the family is away traveling.
- Accommodation provided in a shared staff apartment (with a separate bedroom and bathroom).
- Meals provided while on duty.
- 1 month of paid vacation.
