Job Description

A highly confidential Ultra-High-Net-Worth private residence in Downtown New York (near the World Trade Center) is seeking a skilled and meticulous Part-Time Housekeeper to provide weekly household support.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional accustomed to working in luxury private homes who takes pride in precision, discretion, and maintaining exceptional standards. The successful candidate will work independently, follow established household systems, and deliver consistent, high-quality care of the residence.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed and thorough cleaning of all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and specialty surfaces.
  • Maintain an impeccable level of organization and overall household presentation.
  • Manage all laundry duties, including washing, folding, and careful garment handling.
  • Iron and press linens and bedding to a high professional standard.
  • Provide expert care for delicate fabrics, luxury finishes, and high-end materials.
  • Monitor household cleaning supplies and report replenishment needs.
  • Adhere strictly to household procedures and preferences.
  • Optional: light meal preparation or simple cooking when requested (not required).

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience working in private residences, preferably with HNW or UHNW principals.
  • Strong technical knowledge of professional cleaning methods and fabric care.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and pride in delivering flawless results.
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of privacy at all times.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable, punctual, and equipped with dependable transportation.

Working Conditions

  • Location: Downtown NYC, near WTC
  • Schedule: Part-time – one day per week, approximately 8–10 hours as needed

Salary

$45–$50 per hour, depending on experience
