Full-Time Housekeeper job (M/F) in Sharjah, UAE

Job Description

A European couple residing in Sharjah is seeking a dependable and detail-focused Housekeeper with a valid UAE driving licence to support the smooth running of their private home.

This is a live-out role suited to a candidate who is organised, proactive, and comfortable managing a variety of household duties independently. In addition to daily cleaning responsibilities, the role includes light maintenance coordination, pet care for two cats, and occasional driving assistance.

The household will provide a vehicle and cover rental costs for daily transport to and from the residence.

Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Cleaning

Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.
Perform routine cleaning tasks including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and care of selected outdoor areas.
Ensure reception and living spaces remain tidy and well presented.

Household Support

Monitor household systems and report maintenance issues.
Coordinate with contractors when required.
Manage household supplies and assist with grocery shopping.
Support with selected laundry tasks.

Organisation & Waste Management

Oversee proper waste sorting and disposal.
Maintain organised storage and supply areas.

Driving & Pet Care

Provide occasional driving support for the principals.
Care for two household cats, including feeding, refreshing water, and maintaining litter boxes.

Job Requirements

Previous experience in a private household, hotel, or similar setting.
Valid UAE driving licence with confidence driving locally.
Comfortable caring for cats and attentive to animal welfare.
High attention to detail with strong cleanliness standards.
Well organised and capable of working independently.
Reliable, professional, and discreet.
Female candidates preferred (open to all nationalities).

Working Conditions

Location: Sharjah, UAE
Schedule: 5–6 days per week
Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (most days concluding around 12 noon)
Accommodation: Live-out
Transport: Car provided with rental costs covered
