Job Description

A prominent private family based in Kuwait City is seeking an experienced House Manager to oversee the daily operation of a fully staffed private residence comprising six bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Reporting directly to the Principal or the Family Office, the House Manager will be responsible for the supervision, coordination, and performance of a team of 12 household staff, ensuring the home operates smoothly and to the highest private household standards at all times.

This role requires a calm, structured, and highly discreet professional with proven experience managing large private households.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate the daily activities of the household staff team.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, cleanliness, and organisation throughout the residence.
  • Oversee guest service and support hospitality requirements when needed.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the household, the Principal, and the Family Office.
  • Ensure absolute discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.
  • Manage the smooth organisation of household events, visits, and special occasions.
  • Monitor household supplies, stock levels, and coordinate with vendors as required.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role within a private household.
  • Formal training or certification in a relevant field is required.
  • Education level above high school.
  • Previous experience working in the GCC region is essential.
  • Strong leadership and staff management experience.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable, discreet, and highly professional.
  • Comfortable managing a busy residence and a sizeable household team.

Working Conditions

  • Live-out position
  • 6 working days per week
  • Based in a large private property in Kuwait
  • Start date: Immediate
  • Contract: Permanent / Full-time (CDI)

Salary
