Job Description

A private principal is seeking an experienced and highly organised House Manager to oversee the full operation of their primary residence in Marrakech, Morocco. This senior role involves complete responsibility for property oversight, staff management, and day-to-day household operations.

The position is ideally suited to a professional with a background in yachting or luxury hospitality, accustomed to high standards, discretion, and autonomy. The role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, with on-site staff accommodation provided.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall maintenance and presentation of the property and its equipment
  • Manage household inventories and conduct regular stock controls
  • Coordinate private events, from preparation to on-site execution
  • Handle purchasing and household supplies
  • Track expenses and maintain clear, accurate financial records
  • Provide personal assistance to the principals (travel arrangements, bookings, logistics)
  • Lead and supervise a household team of approximately 7 staff members
  • Organise staff schedules, define roles, oversee training, and support recruitment
  • Ensure existing procedures are respected and introduce new systems when needed
  • Respond efficiently to daily priorities and specific requests from the employer
  • Liaise with external contractors and service providers
  • Monitor external works and follow up on all interventions
  • Welcome and attend to guests, ensuring a polished and professional experience
  • Travel with the employer when required

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a comparable role within a high-end or private environment
  • Background in yachting, luxury hospitality, or private service strongly appreciated
  • Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable
  • Strong service mindset with attention to detail
  • Naturally discreet, with a strong sense of confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable using digital communication tools and messaging platforms
  • Valid driving licence considered an advantage
  • Fluent in French and English

  • Location: Marrakech, Morocco
  • Contract: Permanent, full-time

  • Accommodation: On-site staff housing provided

Salary

€4,000 – €5,000 net per month, depending on experience and profile
